That figure, drawn from Maya’s own site, missed the re-fetch during verification and therefore carries less weight than the directly read GCash schedule above. |
Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. GCash’s stated ceiling concerns the balance held at any given point. Frequently presented as a comparison, the pairing of the two numbers is not meaningful because they measure different things.
The figures here were recorded in 2026-09 and are point-in-time. Limits and fees get changed by payment providers with no notice, so the provider’s own page is the only up-to-date source.
What Maya says about gambling transactions
We read Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions directly and found general prohibitions on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches, but no gambling clause. Terms on the CREDIT CARD, a product of its own, do treat ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ as a restricted transaction, and give suspension or cancellation of the card as the consequence. Under BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 in August 2025, Maya was also bound, so in-app gambling and gaming links came out. The line between the products is important, given that a credit card agreement’s restriction does not restrict the wallet.
How fast money actually moves
Maya settles in real time across wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay transfers, and within the same banking day across PESONet. The thing described is the rail and not the casino: an operator may keep a withdrawal for its own review before Maya ever gets it, and that review is generally the origin of waiting time.
A per-transaction cap of Limits at the Upgraded tier are PHP 20,000 per transaction for sending to another Maya user, alongside PHP 50,000 per day for InstaPay transfers out applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.
Verification tiers
- Basic — Expect a PHP 50,000 limit on the wallet monthly and a PHP 50,000 limit on daily purchases. This tier does not allow InstaPay bank transfers or sending to other Maya users
- Upgraded — Getting there means providing a video selfie, valid ID and verified address. PHP 100,000 wallet limit each month, daily purchases as high as PHP 100,000, sending to Maya users held to PHP 20,000 per transaction and PHP 100,000 per day, and PHP 50,000 per day and PHP 100,000 per month for InstaPay out
- Super Users — On a monthly basis the wallet is limited to PHP 500,000; per day, purchases and sends are limited to PHP 500,000. What makes an account qualify for this tier stays unpublished on Maya’s side

Where Maya shows up in a casino cashier
- Log in to the casino you play at and open its cashier or deposit screen.
- Read the method list shown for your account: Maya is on offer only where that list names it.
- Match the name on the casino account to the name on your Maya account before you send anything.
- Read the minimum, the maximum and any Maya fee on that screen, then confirm the amount.
A cashier screen is the casino stating its own rails, so start every first Maya payment there.
