If you want to know how to play Color Game, the whole round fits in one breath: you back a colour, three dice roll, and you check whether your colour came up. It began as a perya stall favourite in the Philippines and is simple enough to learn in one round. Before you sit down, read the card game rules every table shares for the habits that carry across table games, and use this page for the dice and the colours.
How to play Color Game in five steps
- Choose the colours you want from the six on the board.
- Place a chip on each colour you chose, in the chip size you decided in advance.
- Wait for the three dice to be rolled together.
- Read the colour on top of each die.
- Settle the round: a colour that shows on any die is a match, and a colour that shows on none loses its chip.
Nothing in steps 1 to 5 depends on speed or memory. Every roll is independent of the one before it.
Color game colors and what each die shows
Each die carries the same six colours, one per face, so every die is a six-way pick with equal odds.
| Colour | Chance on one die | Where it sits |
|---|---|---|
| Yellow | 1 in 6 (16.67%) | One face of each die |
| White | 1 in 6 (16.67%) | One face of each die |
| Pink | 1 in 6 (16.67%) | One face of each die |
| Blue | 1 in 6 (16.67%) | One face of each die |
| Red | 1 in 6 (16.67%) | One face of each die |
| Green | 1 in 6 (16.67%) | One face of each die |
The board in front of you mirrors this layout, with a betting square for each colour.
Reading the three dice
Three dice with six faces each give 6 x 6 x 6 = 216 equally likely results. They fall into three shapes.
| Shape of the roll | Results out of 216 | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Three different colours | 120 | 55.56% |
| One pair and one odd colour | 90 | 41.67% |
| Three of the same colour | 6 | 2.78% |
A pair means one colour shows on two dice, so a chip on that colour has matched twice. Three of a kind is the rarest shape, at 6 in 216.
Your chance of a match
For one chosen colour, the number of dice that show it follows the same 216 results.
- No die shows it: 125 in 216, about 57.87%.
- Exactly one die shows it: 75 in 216, about 34.72%.
- Exactly two dice show it: 15 in 216, about 6.94%.
- All three dice show it: 1 in 216, about 0.46%.
Add the last three lines and a chosen colour shows on at least one die 91 times in 216, about 42.13%. Backing more colours spreads your chips over more outcomes but does not change any single colour’s chance.
What a match pays
Payout ratios for Color Game differ between a perya stall and an online version, and some versions pay more when a colour shows on two or three dice. Open the game’s rules screen before your first chip and read what one, two and three matches pay for that version. This page gives no payout figure because none is the same everywhere.
Work out your chip size from your budget. With a ₱2,000 session budget (an example figure) and a ₱100 chip, you hold 20 chips, and backing three colours in one round puts 3 of them in play.
Playing it where a lobby lists it
Games in the JILI365 lobby sit under provider tabs, and the lobby has a search box, so search for the title you want. The studio that makes the games in the Jili tab is a separate company from the casino, and the JILI studio’s own game titles are described on that studio’s page. If you like number-matching games, bingo rules for matching called numbers work on a different idea, and the Pekwa card game swaps dice for a shared card layout.
Your colour shows on two dice and you expected the same result as one.
Read the rules screen. Many versions count each die separately, so a colour on two dice can pay differently from a colour on one.
You cannot find Color Game in the lobby.
Type the name into the lobby’s search box and check each provider tab. If no title appears, the lobby does not list it for your account.
Play only if you are 21 or older, and stop when your session budget is spent.
